Strategic Plan

The goal of this five-year strategic plan is to enhance development and improve quality in all relevant areas of the Dentistry faculty. This plan has been developed based on five core indexes: (Information Technology, Research, International Activities, Financial Resources and Contribution to Community Development) in accordance with the guidelines and prescribed format of the Ministry of Higher Education’s Planning and Policy Directorate.

The strategic plan focuses on the following key priorities: creating facilities for quality education within the faculty, maintenance and development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the educational curriculum, as well as providing facilities for laboratory and clinical practical work. Additionally, the plan includes the implementation of the Ministry of Higher Education’s laws and regulations, application of standards for quality assurance and enhancement of the faculty and the establishment and development of special programs for the capacity building of the faculty’s students, lecturers and staff.

Another important aspect of this strategic plan is ensuring academic and scientific cooperation, which facilitates the exchange of experiences with both domestic and international educational institutions. Furthermore, the creation of new academic programs, educate such students that would committed to Islamic and medical ethics and national values, as well as the prevention of corruption and ensuring transparency and justice in administrative and academic affairs, are also included in the strategic priorities of this plan.

This strategic plan represents an essential step toward strengthening the academic and scientific affairs of the Faculty of Dentistry and expanding its academic activities, thereby ensuring progress at the level of higher education.
