Biography

Shahabuddin Afghan, Vice Chancellor for admin and finance Affairs at Spinghar Institute of Higher Education, was born in 1991 in Sheikh Maidan village of Haska Mina District, Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan. He completed his primary, middle, and high school education at Shpula High School and graduated from the 12th grade in 2010. In the same year, he enrolled in the Faculty of Economics at Ariana Institute of Higher Education in Jalalabad, Nangarhar, and received his bachelor’s degree in 2014. In 2021, he joined the MBA (Leadership), Khurasan University, and graduated in 2023. Alongside his bachelor’s and master’s studies, he began his professional and career journey in 2011. Since then, he has held various academic and administrative positions within private sector of higher education. His roles have included Information and Registration Manager, Student Affairs Manager, Controller Examinations, Head of Student Affairs, Database System Administrator for the institution, Lecturer in the Faculty of Economics, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, and Vice Chancellor for Financial and Administrative Affairs. Currently; Shahabuddin Afghan serves as Vice Chancellor for Financial and Administrative Affairs at Spinghar Institute of Higher Education (Nangarhar). In this role, he manages various financial and administrative responsibilities, adhering to Islamic and national values and standards to ensure that the institution is competitive with other educational institutions at national and regional levels and serves as a model for others to emulate.
