Spinghar Institute of Higher Education (Nangarhar) is develop long-term plans to achieve its goals in an efficient and effective manner. For the institute to ensure sustainability and continuity, the institute has developed a strategic plan for the next five years (2024-2028). This strategic plan was officially confirmed and approved by the Ministry of Higher Education on (2024/06/11) via official letter (540/406).

The strategic plan is very important for the academic and administrative growth and development of the institute. This plan is developed in accordance with the relevant targets and requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education for the next five years in mainly focusing on major areas (research, financial resources, information technology, corporate social responsibly and development, and international activities). The five-year goals of the strategic plan are interconnected and comprehensive, development activities and plans created for each year are according to the relevant major areas. Appropriate development and operational budgets have been allocated to the strategic plan.

The leadership, faculty members, and administrative staff of the institute are committed to the achievement of these goals and activities. The institute will realize its mission by pursuing the following goals in the next five years:

1.    Development, renewal, and implementation of curriculum.

2.    Development of teaching and working facilities at the institute and the teaching hospital

3.    Improving working outcomes in academic research and publications

4.    Engaging in national and international academic activities

5.    Enhancing the capabilities and capacity of administrative and academic staff

6.    Enhancing skills and abilities of students

7.    Driving the development and operations of information technology.

8.    Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

9.    Managing financial resources and revenue streams
